HGV DRIVERS NEEDED

We are looking for HGV 1 & 2 drivers for a variety of work within the Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire & Wiltshire areas.

WE EMPLOY RECENT PASSERS WITH NO HGV DRIVING EXPERIENCE!

Job roles on offer = Trunking, Bulk Deliveries, Multidrop, Days, Nights, Weekends = Choose the type of work and hours that suit you!

Pay Rates:

• £15.00 to £18.00 per hour, Guaranteed 8hrs a day
• £22.50 to £27.00 per hour Overtime after 8hrs Monday to Friday & Saturday
• £28.00 to 36.00 per hour Sunday

Duties Include:

• Driving a HGV vehicle to deliver goods via various delivery routes
• Meeting multiple customers
• Manually loading & unloading from your vehicle
• Checking and confirming delivery accuracy against PDA/paperwork

Successful Applicants:

• Hold a valid HGV licence - essential

7.5ton Drivers

We have on offer a wide range of opportunities including; multi-drop, same day and smaller bulk long distance runs. 

Roles can be either long term, on-going positions or ad-hoc vacancies - Shifts and Hours to suit you – Choose to work between 1 to 6 days a week, it’s your choice.

Forklift Driver

Forte Recruitment are currently looking for Forklift Drivers / Warehouse Operatives to join local businesses in the Basingstoke and Andover areas on full time permanent contracts.

You would be reporting to the operations supervisor, in this role the successful warehouse operative and Forklift driver will be responsible for helping to oversee all the goods in / out functions and warehouse operations.

Salary - £12.50 - 14.50 per hour

Hours of work – day or afternoon shifts available.

• Replenish warehouse stock in readiness for the following shift
• Carry out routine stock checks
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Conduct routine equipment checks on FLT’S
• Help manage and oversee stock levels & notify manager when stock is low
• Cover teams members roles during times of absence (holiday/sickness)
• Undertake all warehouse, good in /out duties as and when required
• Heavy lifting will be required within this role

 DRIVERS MATE / PORTER

Forte Recruitment Solutions are looking for drivers Mates / porters for a well known branded company based in Andover.

What is expected of me in this role?

For the successful candidate, the Drivers Mate role will have the following responsibilities.

- Calling the next delivery, and letting them know when you will arriving and installing their goods.

- Helping carry the goods to the buyers house (so heavy lifting will be required)

- Helping navigate the driver as and when required.

This client is based in Andover and is one of the most well known companies that are around there. They will likely deliver anywhere between 10-20 deliveries around the region in a day.

Okay, and what kind of hours and days are we looking at?

For the successful Drivers Mate the client is looking at starting you between 5.30am – 8am pending on the deliveries, and will be 5/6 days in the week (so could be weekend work also).

What about pay?

The successful Drivers Mate will be paid the National Living Wage or above, with a guaranteed 10 hours paid!
